Notifications and reminders are key tools for keeping employees informed in a simple and timely manner. At Happyforce, we also promote and encourage their responsible and respectful use, ensuring employees are not overwhelmed with notifications.
Daily participation reminders
These reminders encourage employees to log their mood. You can choose the days of the week and time they will receive them, but remember that the employee has the final say and can customize their settings from their device the first time they enter Happyforce.
☝️ Remember to Respect Working Hours
Always ensure that notifications are sent only within agreed working hours, avoiding interruptions outside of work time. This helps maintain a healthy work-life balance and prevents employees from rejecting the tool.
Why are daily participation reminders important?
They Give Employees a Voice
In a day filled with digital tools, they remind employees of the importance of their participation in Happyforce.
They Offer Flexibility for Every Employee
While you set up the initial notifications, each employee can adjust them according to their preferences.
Notifications to Encourage Participation
When an employee hasn't participated for a while, we send reminders to encourage them to re-engage. These reminders are tailored based on the activity in the account during that period but can be summarized as follows:
Morning Notifications
Reminders of updates to start the day without missing out on what's new. (Configurable until 11:00 AM)
Midday Notifications
Participation reminders to encourage employees to log their mood. (Configurable between 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM)
Afternoon Notifications
Social reminders to encourage employees to leave feedback, respond to comments, or catch up on conversations. (Configurable between 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM, during that time of day when work starts to take a backseat and we feel more social)
You'll also have the option to choose which days of the week to send these reminders, and this setting cannot be modified by the employees.
Why are participation notifications important?
They help employees focus on what matters: Notifications highlight important communications or activities, helping employees stay organized and direct their attention to what truly matters.
They reduce forgetfulness: In the busy daily routine, it’s easy to forget certain tasks. We understand that participating in Happyforce may not be in the top 10 priorities for your employees. Reminders act as support so employees don’t overlook important actions.
EXTRA: Birthday and Work Anniversary Notifications
If you set the employee's birthdate and work anniversary of your employees, we will send an individual greeting to the employee on that day on behalf of Happyforce. No one else will be able to see it (if you're looking for a public greeting visible to the entire organization, check this out).
You can enable or disable this option at any time from the configuration panel.
