Fire spreading quickly? Here's what to do

When something  that concerns or upsets your employees pops up in the comments, the best thing you can do is communicate with them. Don’t remain silent, as people may read it as indifference or cowardice from the company in a moment where they need to feel listened and understood.

If fire spreads too quickly, let them know that you have read and understood their comments, and that you will get back to them when you have more information about what’s troubling them. Remember: If you wait until you have a solution to talk to them, they will feel helpless and impatient due to your silence. But if you give them a prompt and honest answer they will understand, and most important, feel that you're paying attention. It’s your team, and they trust you!
